Free online drone flight simulator.

We spent months evaluating existing drone simulators before deciding to build from scratch. What we found was that nearly all of them were focused on FPV racing or freestyle flying — which is great, but most real-world drone applications are actually industrial: agriculture, delivery, humanitarian operations, surveying, and inspection. We needed a simulator focused on these practical applications, not racing gates and trick flying.

Beyond the focus on racing, we kept running into the same friction points that excluded the people we were trying to reach:

• Required downloads and installs. Most drone simulators require downloading a large application. For our trainees in rural Philippines with limited bandwidth and older devices, a multi-gigabyte download is a non-starter. We also found ourselves hesitant to install software from developers we didn't know — and we figured others felt the same way.
• Required accounts and sign-ups. Many simulators wouldn't even let you see what they looked like without creating an account first. We just wanted to try them out, not commit to a platform. Too many steps before you could fly.
• Cost barriers. Paid simulators — even affordable ones — exclude people who are curious about drones but not ready to spend money. For communities in developing countries, any cost is a barrier. We wanted every feature free, forever.
• Ads and distractions. Free simulators that do exist are often loaded with ads. We wanted a clean, focused training tool.
• Complex setup. Many simulators required extensive configuration, controller calibration, or technical knowledge before you could fly. We wanted someone to click a link and be flying within seconds, whether they were on a laptop with a keyboard or a phone with touch controls.
• Desktop only. Most simulators don't work on mobile at all. In the Philippines, many of the individuals in our programs or interested in our programs only have access to mobile phones. A simulator that requires a gaming PC doesn't reach them.

What we wanted was simple: a free, browser-based drone simulator with no sign-up, no download, no ads, that works on web and mobile, supports both keyboard and USB controllers, focuses on beginner-friendly controls and industrial applications, and is easy enough that anyone can click in and start flying immediately — no matter what device they have access to.

The trade-off is that a browser-based simulator is more limited on graphics compared to a native desktop application. But it still delivers what matters most: realistic physics, practical mission types that mirror real-world drone operations, and the ability to practice on any device without barriers.

So we built our own. This is the simulator we use in our own training cohorts in Davao, Philippines. We continue to improve it daily — optimizing performance, adding new mission types, expanding terrain maps, and refining the physics — working toward our goal of providing the best free, online, no-sign-up, beginner-friendly drone simulator available.
